Charles Leclerc Triumphs at Silverstone for Ferrari

Charles Leclerc claimed a memorable victory at the 2026 British Grand Prix, leading Ferrari to a dominant one-three finish at Silverstone. The Monaco driver controlled the race from the early stages to secure his first win of the season and Ferrari's 250th Formula 1 Grand Prix victory.

Leclerc moved into the lead after pole-sitter Kimi Antonelli made a slow start and maintained his advantage through smart tyre management and consistent pace. Antonelli's hopes of challenging for the win ended after suffering a mechanical problem, dropping him out of contention.

George Russell finished second for Mercedes, while Lewis Hamilton completed the podium in third after recovering from an early five-second penalty at his home race. A late crash involving Max Verstappen brought out the Safety Car, with the race ending under caution.

The victory marked Leclerc's first Formula 1 win in more than 600 days and strengthened Ferrari's position in the Constructors' Championship. Although Antonelli failed to score, he remains the leader of the Drivers' Championship heading into the next round.
