Max Verstappen started the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix weekend strongly by setting the fastest time in the opening practice session at Spa-Francorchamps.
Verstappen topped FP1 with a lap time of 1:47.070, finishing ahead of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Isack Hadjar impressed with fourth place, while Oscar Piastri completed the top five.
