Wales edged the Barbarians 33-31 in an entertaining match at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, as George North brought his professional rugby career to a memorable close.

The match belonged to George North, who made his final professional appearance playing for the Barbarians against his former national team. North came off the bench to score two tries, with his first coming from his very first touch, and kicked the final conversion of the game.
Despite the Barbarians’ late surge, Wales held on for victory in their final warm-up before the Nations Championship. North received a standing ovation after the final whistle, bringing the curtain down on a remarkable career that included 121 caps and 47 tries for Wales.
