Aryna Sabalenka continued her impressive Wimbledon campaign with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Jelena Ostapenko in the third round. The world No. 1 produced another strong performance to book her place in the fourth round without dropping a set in the tournament.
Sabalenka made a confident start, breaking Ostapenko’s serve early in the opening set. She controlled the match with powerful groundstrokes and accurate serving, closing the first set with a 111 mph ace.
Ostapenko challenged her in the second set, but Sabalenka stayed composed during the crucial moments. She maintained her aggressive style and sealed the match on her second match point to complete a straight-sets victory.
