South Africa started their T20 World Cup campaign with a commanding 57-run victory over Canada at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Batting first, the Proteas posted a strong total of 213 for 4 in 20 overs.

Aiden Markram led the innings with 59 runs off 32 balls, while Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, Ryan Rickelton, and Quinton de Kock all made valuable contributions. Their late-over hitting helped South Africa set a challenging target for the Canadian side.
