“The Bulls were not to be denied as they finally breached Leinster’s defence”
Leinster retained their URC title with a 36–7 win over the Bulls at Croke Park. They delivered a strong performance to defend their crown again.
They started fast and led 22–0 at halftime. Tommy O’Brien scored first after a loose-ball break. Rieko Ioane and Jack Conan also crossed the line. Sam Prendergast added conversions and a penalty to keep control.
The Bulls struggled with discipline. They were reduced to 14 men twice in the first half. This stopped their rhythm and limited their attack.
Prendergast scored again early in the second half from a quick ruck. The Bulls responded with a try from Canan Moodie, which Handre Pollard converted.
Harry Byrne added a late try to finish the game. The Bulls also had two tries ruled out by the TMO. Leinster stayed in control throughout and secured a clear win.
