“The final climb up Via Santa Caterina led into the historic Piazza del Campo finish”

Tadej Pogačar won the 2026 edition of Strade Bianche in Siena, Italy, securing a record fourth victory in the famous race.

The race covered 201 km across Tuscany and included several challenging white gravel sectors. Pogačar made his decisive move on the Monte Sante Marie gravel sector with around 80 km remaining. He attacked strongly and quickly created a gap from the chasing riders.

From that moment, the Slovenian rider continued alone at the front. He maintained his advantage and crossed the finish line at Piazza del Campo in Siena with a winning time of 4 hours 45 minutes and 15 seconds.

French rider Paul Seixas finished in second place, while Mexican cyclist Isaac Del Toro took third place after a strong ride.

With this victory, Pogačar moved past cycling legend Fabian Cancellara, who previously held the record with three wins. The triumph also marked Pogačar’s third consecutive Strade Bianche victory and confirmed his dominance in one-day classic races.
