Sri Lanka booked their place in the final of the Pakistan T20I Tri-Series with a thrilling 6-run victory over the hosts in Rawalpindi on 27 November 2025.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first, but Sri Lanka responded strongly with the bat. Kamil Mishara top-scored with 76 off 48 balls, while Kusal Mendis added a quick 40, helping Sri Lanka post a competitive 184/5 in 20 overs.

In reply, Pakistan had a poor start, losing four wickets inside the first six overs. Captain Salman Agha fought back with a determined 63, and Usman Khan chipped in with 33 to revive the chase. Despite their efforts, Sri Lanka’s bowlers kept control in the final overs.

The star with the ball was Dushmantha Chameera, who delivered a brilliant spell of 4 for 20, including crucial wickets in the powerplay. Pakistan finished on 178/7, falling short by just six runs.

With this win, Sri Lanka confirmed their spot in the series final, showcasing strong teamwork, disciplined bowling, and excellent death-over control.
