“Playing in Pakistan is always a great experience that helps our players improve.”
Sri Lanka cricket team will travel to Pakistan on November 8, 2025, for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series. The tour gives the team a chance to test their form and gain confidence ahead of future tournaments.
The ODI series begins on November 11, with all matches set to be played in Pakistan, including at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The players will train for a few days after arrival to adjust to local conditions.
Sri Lanka Cricket made several changes to the squad for this tour. Experienced all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga returns, while young players such as Lahiru Udara, Kamil Mishara, Pramod Madushan, and Eshan Malinga join the lineup. Meanwhile, Nishan Madushka, Nuwanidu Fernando, Dunith Wellalage, and Dilshan Madushanka have been rested.
Officials said the tour offers a valuable chance for both new and returning players to prove themselves. It also helps strengthen cricketing ties between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
