“Records can be broken, but the fight for the crown is what defines the season.”
Nicolo Bulega claimed his second feature race win at MotorLand Aragon for Aruba.it Racing – Ducati. He outpaced Toprak Razgatlioglu in a close battle and pulled clear to take victory by over three seconds.
Razgatlioglu, riding for ROKiT BMW, pushed hard and set the fastest lap but had to settle for second. Alvaro Bautista joined his teammate on the podium in third, while Andrea Iannone overtook Jonathan Rea to finish fourth. Rea held on to fifth, matching his best result of the season.
Bulega’s win also matched Max Biaggi’s record for the most victories in a single season by an Italian rider and marked his 50th career podium. The result keeps him firmly in the title fight and highlights his growing consistency this season. Razgatlioglu still leads the championship with 523 points, followed by Bulega on 487 and Danilo Petrucci on 284.
Aragon once again showcased Bulega’s skill, determination, and tactical racing as he continues to close the gap in the WorldSBK title race.
