"Breaking limits isn’t just about speed — it’s about paving the way for future champions."

Sri Lankan sprint star Yupun Abeykoon showed his amazing talent once again by winning the men's 100 meters race in Poland. He competed at the Memoriał Zbigniewa Ludwichowskiego, a part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze series, and gave a thrilling performance that excited fans and earned him a well-deserved victory.

Abeykoon finished the race in 10.36 seconds, setting a new meet record. His fast start and strong running kept him ahead of other top athletes throughout the race. This shows he is one of Asia’s fastest sprinters.

This win adds to Abeykoon’s growing list of achievements. In 2022, he made history by breaking the South Asian 100m record with a time of 9.96 seconds in Switzerland. His recent success in Poland confirms that he is a world-class athlete with the ability to compete at the highest level.

After the race, Abeykoon thanked his fans and coaches for their support. He said he will keep working hard to improve and continue making Sri Lanka proud.

Yupun Abeykoon’s great performances inspire many young athletes in Sri Lanka and Asia. He proves that with hard work, determination, and talent, anyone can break limits and reach new heights in sports.
