"Speed, control, and strategy combined to define Toyota’s strong rally performance"

Toyota driver Sami Pajari secured his first FIA World Rally Championship victory at Rally Estonia 2026 after a dominant performance on the fast gravel stages. Driving the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 with co-driver Marko Salminen, Pajari completed the rally with a winning time of 2 hours, 24 minutes, 32.4 seconds.

Pajari controlled the event from the opening stages, showing strong pace and confidence on Estonia’s high-speed roads. He won multiple stages during the rally and built an early advantage over his rivals. His consistency across the demanding gravel sections helped him maintain the lead until the finish.

Toyota also enjoyed a strong team result, with Oliver Solberg finishing second in another GR Yaris Rally1. Solberg pushed Pajari throughout the event but ended the rally 19.5 seconds behind his teammate. The result gave Toyota a one-two finish, highlighting the team’s strength on Estonia’s challenging stages.

Hyundai driver Adrien Fourmaux completed the podium in third place, but the race belonged to Pajari, who became one of the newest WRC winners with his breakthrough victory. The result was another important success for Toyota’s 2026 championship campaign.
