LeBron James Breaks Record but Suffers Injury

LeBron James achieved another historic milestone but suffered an injury during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 120–113 loss to the Denver Nuggets in an NBA game at Ball Arena.

During the first quarter, James made a 12-foot turnaround jumper to become the NBA’s all-time leader in career field goals. The basket gave him 15,838 career field goals, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s previous record of 15,837. The achievement added another record to James’ remarkable career in his 23rd NBA season.

James finished the game with 16 points while shooting 7-for-11 from the field. However, the night took a worrying turn late in the fourth quarter when he attempted a layup and fell hard near the baseline, injuring his left elbow. He left the court with about four minutes remaining and did not return to the game.

Meanwhile, Denver secured the victory with strong performances from Nikola Jokić, who recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds. Jamal Murray also contributed 28 points to help the Nuggets seal the win.

Although James made history during the game, the Lakers’ defeat and his injury overshadowed the milestone moment.
