Germany national football team defeated Switzerland national football team 4–3 in a thrilling international friendly played in Basel.

Switzerland took the lead in the 17th minute through Dan Ndoye after a defensive mistake. Germany responded when Jonathan Tah scored his first international goal. Breel Embolo then restored Switzerland’s lead before halftime, but Serge Gnabry equalised just before the break with help from Florian Wirtz.

In the second half, Wirtz gave Germany the lead with a stunning long-range strike. However, Switzerland fought back again as Joel Monteiro made it 3–3 late in the match. Germany had the final say when Wirtz scored the winning goal in the 86th minute to complete the comeback.
