Dever from GB Secures Fourth Place in New York Marathon

British runner Patrick Dever impressed at the New York City Marathon. He finished fourth with a time of 2:08:58, just one second behind Kenya’s Albert Korir. It was a very close race for the podium.

This was Dever’s marathon debut. His strong finish immediately ranked him among the world’s top marathon runners. Known for his speed on the track and in half-marathons, he has successfully moved up to the full marathon. He showed stamina and tactical skill throughout the race.

Kenya’s Benson Kipruto won the men’s race. Dever’s performance, however, drew attention for its competitiveness and consistency.
