Jacob Bridgeman claimed his first PGA Tour title by winning the 2026 Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. He finished at 18-under-par, just one shot ahead of Rory McIlroy and Kurt Kitayama.

Bridgeman entered the final round with the lead and managed to stay calm under pressure. He closed with a level-par 72 and secured victory with a steady par on the 18th hole. The win marked a major milestone in his career, coming in only his third full season on the PGA Tour.

McIlroy pushed hard in the final round, shooting a four-under-par 67 to climb the leaderboard. A brilliant bunker birdie on the 12th hole highlighted his charge, but he finished at 17-under-par, one shot short of forcing a playoff. He shared second place with Kitayama.
