“The FW48 launch demonstrates Williams’ commitment to fans, partners, and the sport’s future.”

Williams officially revealed the FW48, their 2026 Formula 1 car. The team focused on the car’s new livery, which features bold blue and black colours with white and light‑blue highlights to display sponsor logos.

The team held the reveal online and at the Williams factory in Grove. Drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, along with Team Principal James Vowles, attended the event. The FW48 combines the team’s traditional colours with a modern design for the new technical era.

Williams missed the Barcelona preseason test, so the FW48 has not yet run on track. The team plans to test it for the first time during the Bahrain sessions in mid‑February.

Team Principal James Vowles said the launch is a key step in building confidence for the season. He added that it will help Williams improve performance under the new regulations. The FW48 shows the team’s ambition to move up the grid and build on its 2025 progress.
