“Strong individual performances and teamwork made the difference for Pakistan.”

Pakistan completed a dominant T20 series win over Australia, claiming the five-match contest 3–0 with a huge 111-run victory in the final game at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Batting first, Pakistan posted 207 for 6 in 20 overs. Opener Saim Ayub scored 56, Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 50, and Shadab Khan added 46 to give the team a commanding total.

In reply, Australia struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling. They were bowled out for 96 runs in 16.5 overs. Mohammad Nawaz starred with 5 wickets for 18 runs, while Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah all contributed to the win.

Pakistan had also won the first two T20Is by 22 and 90 runs, completing a clean sweep of the series. The victory boosts Pakistan’s confidence ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026, while Australia will look to regroup after a disappointing tour.

Babar Azam also broke a major T20I record by surpassing Virat Kohli for the most half-centuries in men’s T20 cricket, highlighting Pakistan’s strong form.
