“Sri Lanka will need to reassess their batting strategy and middle-order consistency moving forward.”

Pakistan completed a strong 3–0 win over Sri Lanka in the ODI series, showing better performance in batting, bowling, and overall control. The final ODI in Rawalpindi clearly reflected Pakistan’s dominance.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 211 in the third match. Sadeera Samarawickrama, Kusal Mendis, and Pavan Rathnayake made useful scores, but the team could not build big partnerships. Pakistan’s bowlers, especially Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Haris Rauf, kept pressure throughout the innings.

Pakistan’s chase was smooth and controlled. Fakhar Zaman scored 55 to give a good start, while Mohammad Rizwan with 61 not out and Hussain Talat with 42 not out finished the job comfortably. Pakistan won by six wickets and completed the clean sweep.

Throughout the series, Pakistan played with confidence and consistency. Sri Lanka showed some positive signs but could not maintain pressure or convert starts into big totals.

Pakistan’s 3–0 sweep gives them a strong boost going forward, while Sri Lanka will need to work on their batting and middle-order stability.
