Kenya’s women’s 4x400m relay team has created history by qualifying for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

The team—Mary Moraa, Mary Cherono, Beatrice Chebet, and Faith Kipyegon—finished fifth in the final at the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China. They set a national record of 2:59.29, marking a major milestone for Kenyan sprinting.
