In the semifinals, he defeated top seed Félix Auger-Aliassime with a strong performance. Medvedev said he preferred to win on court, but he felt satisfied with his level during the week. This win gave Medvedev his 23rd ATP singles title. It also marked his second Dubai crown after his 2023 triumph. He had already won a title in Brisbane earlier this season. These results show his strong start to 2026 and boost his push toward the top 10 in the ATP rankings.
