Sri Lanka started the 2025 Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series strongly, defeating Uzbekistan 26–14 in their opening Pool C match at the Racecourse Stadium in Colombo. The win thrilled the home crowd and boosted the team’s confidence for the tournament’s final leg.
