Sri Lanka secured third place at the 2025 Central Asian U19 Girls’ Volleyball Championship held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo. In the bronze medal match, the Sri Lanka U19 team defeated Maldives in straight sets, 25‑6, 25‑11, 25‑10, to claim the podium finish.

Earlier in the tournament, Sri Lanka faced the eventual champions Kyrgyzstan in the semi-finals but lost 3‑0 with scores of 26‑24, 25‑21, 25‑15. Despite the setback, the team showed great determination and bounced back strongly in the third-place playoff.
