Sri Lanka Cricket announced its 15‑member women’s squad for the upcoming five‑match T20I series against India. The series will take place from 21 to 30 December 2025 in India, with matches in Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram.
Chamari Athapaththu will lead the team as captain. The squad combines experienced players with emerging talent. Key members include Hasini Perera, Vishmi Gunaratne, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Kavisha Dilhari, Nilakshi de Silva, Anushka Sanjeewani (WK), Imesha Dulani, Dewmi Vihanga, Piumi Wathsala, Inoka Ranaweera, Sugandika Kumari, Udeshika Prabodhani, Malki Madara, and Achini Kulasooriya.
The series gives Sri Lanka a chance to test its players against a strong Indian side, led by Harmanpreet Kaur with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain. The T20I format demands both skill and strategy.
