“Leicester still need a strong performance in their next game to reach the quarter-finals.”

Leicester Tigers kept their Champions Cup knockout hopes alive with a dominant 57–14 win over Bayonne. The Tigers took control early, and fly-half Billy Searle stole the show by scoring three tries in the second half.

Other tries for Leicester came from Adam Radwan, Tommy Reffell, Cameron Henderson, Ollie Chessum, and Emeka Ilione. Searle also contributed with several conversions, helping the team reach a total of 57 points.

Bayonne managed two tries, but Leicester’s strong defence and attacking play left them well behind.

Despite this big win, Leicester still face a tough challenge to qualify for the knockout stages. They will need a strong performance in their next pool game against the Stormers to secure a place in the Champions Cup quarter-finals.

Searle’s performance earned him player-of-the-match honours, and he said the team’s fast-paced style helped him perform at his best.
