Sri Lanka’s para-athlete Pradeep Somasiri won the bronze medal in the Men’s 1500m T46 event at the World Para Athletics Championships. He completed the race in 3 minutes and 53.77 seconds, setting a new Asian record and bringing pride to his country.
This achievement highlights his consistent performances on the international stage. Pradeep had earlier won gold at the 2022 Asian Para Games and represented Sri Lanka at the 2024 Paralympics.
