“India showed flashes of fight, but New Zealand’s depth proved too strong on the day.”

New Zealand produced a strong all-round performance to beat India by 50 runs in the fourth T20 International at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

After winning the toss, New Zealand batted first and made full use of the conditions, posting 215 for 7 in 20 overs. Opener Tim Seifert led the charge with a quick 62, while Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell added important runs to keep the scoreboard moving fast.

India’s chase never really got going. They lost early wickets and struggled to build partnerships. Shivam Dube was the main bright spot, smashing 65 off just 23 balls, with Rinku Singh offering some support.

New Zealand’s bowlers kept the pressure on throughout, with Mitchell Santner taking three wickets to bowl India out for 165 in 18.4 overs.

The 50-run win gave New Zealand a big confidence boost, while India will look to regroup and finish the series on a stronger note.
