Mercedes has announced that George Russell and Kimi Antonelli will continue as their Formula 1 drivers for the 2026 season.
George Russell, a British driver, has been with Mercedes since 2017. He has five race wins and is currently fourth in the drivers’ standings. He signed a new multi-year contract, keeping him with the team and ensuring stability at the top level.
Kimi Antonelli, 19, joined Mercedes as a rookie in 2025. He impressed with a fourth-place finish in his first race and a podium in Canada. Despite some challenges, he has shown strong progress and is considered a rising star in Formula 1.
