Belgium secured a convincing 4-1 victory over the United States to book their place in the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals. The Red Devils produced a dominant Round of 16 performance in Seattle.

De Ketelaere starred with two goals and an assist. Vanaken also impressed with a goal and an assist. Belgium punished defensive mistakes and created the better chances throughout the match.

Belgium will now face Spain in the World Cup quarterfinals. The defeat ended the United States’ home campaign despite an encouraging run to the Round of 16.
